Constant Tension Hose Clamp
FIXO Constant Tension Hose Clamps incorporate a spring element that continuously adjusts the clamping force as the hose expands (heat) and contracts (cold). Unlike standard worm drive clamps that lose torque over thermal cycling, constant tension clamps maintain a predetermined clamping load at all times. This eliminates the leading cause of leaks in engine cooling systems, HVAC ducts, and industrial fluid lines — the clamp loosening as the rubber hose softens and compresses under heat. The result is a maintenance-free, leak-free connection for the lifetime of the hose. Available in spring steel (SS301/302) and AISI 304. Suitable for engine coolant, turbo inlet, oil cooler, and HVAC applications.
